The Pool
As I’ve said, this is a pool, my pool. Just like any other pool, this one is not perfect. There are times when the water is cold, chilling and numbing. Another time when it is warm, soothing and calming. But it’s not the pool itself that makes it special. It’s not even the water. It is the people who swim on it that will make it exceptional and worthwhile.
The content of this pool is water from my own viewpoint. Not the water itself but how I saw the water and how I dived into the water and swam through it. You can agree with me and look at it the same way or otherwise. Anyway, you have a your own pool.
Remember that whatever your pool is, however deep or shallow, huge or small, it is never insignificant. If your water is troubled or tranquil, warm or frosty, you can always decide to make it a fun swimming experience. Because then again, it is not the water that dictates the experience, but the person immersed in it that determines. Take a dive on life!
Feel free to be a part of my pool. Take a dip.

Share your talents
Me? I admit I am good at singing. I’m also good at dancing. I’m a first-rate performer, a master of good music and a brilliantly endowed “happy feet”. Nah! Of course it’s a joke. Don’t go asking me to do those things. I swear you’ll lose the little respect you have for me. :-p
I love music but music dislikes me. Yes, I can’t sing very well but I can play the guitar. (I have my own guitar btw. I even named her). And back in grade school, I was even a dancer (a what?!). Don’t give me that look. We were so few back then that they had no choice but to have me as part of the troupe. Joke! I think when your young and cute (don’t nag), “mapapalagpas na yun” .
Anyway, I believe my best talent is that I can love. And I believe that this goes for everyone as well. How can you be unloving when you were foremost created out of it. We were made out of the overflowing love of our Father. And when we went wayward, we were redeemed by this same powerful love of our God.
Like the first two persons in the parable, we can choose to invest this love and let it multiple. Love is love only when it is shared, as the cliché would remind us. And when we do it, our Master will be very pleased with us and He will welcome us to His house and there we will have unending rejoicing.
But if we follow the third person who was fearful of losing what was entrusted to him, then we become futile.
We will lose even that little love that we have.
Let not our fear outshine the love in our hearts. Let’s not bury that gift God has abundantly blessed upon us. Keep loving fellas!
